Peter in your movie you play a blind man. I was wondering if that role gave you an insight on people with disabilities. My daughter Samantha is 4 years old and is legally deaf and i get a lot of people starring at me cause she is louder then other kids and cause she signs. so i was wondering if playing that role helped you understand the everyday struggles that people with disabilities go threw. I thank you for your time and i hope you do answer my question we all love you very much especially my daughter. We all love Twilight. Definitely. During filming I wore contact lenses that impeded my vision. I found that my other sense became sharpened but I also noticed how people treat you differently. Also in spending a lot of time with Eric Weinmeayer the man I was portraying I learned so much. Eric, saw strength in his disability, where others saw weakness. The word disabled is a negative connotation in itself. Dis-abled (not abled). Not able to what? To hear? To see? To walk? In actuality people with these handicaps have to be more able. More able to get by in a world that simply isn’t built for them. It is built for the majority. The "abled" What Eric taught me was priceless. How he used his handicap as a motivation to prove he was as able as the next guy was awe-inspiring.

I recommend it for your daughter when she get a little older and I hope it inspires her to never feel less than. To feel more powerful than most because she has to accomplish more with less senses. But that it can be done.

My Harley, and my laptop.

One of my favorite parts in the book, and there were a lot :), was the office scene, but it wasn't put in the movie. I was wondering what you thought about that? It kind of robbed your character a bit, and how are they where going to introduce Italy's significance without the stories behind the pictures there?

By the way I did notice his father's cross at the end of the stairs :)

New Moon addresses the Volturi. Twilight did skip some of Carlisle's back-story. I was happy some of it made it in with the flashback to me changing Esme, and Edward. Of course I wish there was more. His history is so fascinating to me. But I do get in a two-hour movie some things get lost. Perhaps in other sequels we'll see more flashbacks bringing some more of the history onto the screen.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. I saw that movie on TV in third grade. From that point acting is what I wanted to do. Paul Newman and Robert Redford were my inspirations.

What is your idea of a perfect day? What's your craziest fan encounter? If you could live forever, would you?

I never really had a "crazy" fan encounter. They've always been quite pleasant.

Perfect day for me...

Waking up in a beachside hotel. Going for breakfast with my wife and kids. Reading a book on a hammock while the kids play. Taking an afternoon dip in the ocean. Lunch by the pool. Renting a four-wheeler in the afternoon, or a wave runner. A shower before dinner. Looking up at the bright stars, and thanking the Universe for a perfect day.
