    Lily (2007)

    Character: The Man

Lily is an atmospheric and suspenseful tale of love, loss and obsession. Its protagonist is a successful young man, haunted by the death of his long departed mother - a death that he ultimately feels responsible for. His guilt has allowed him to be lured into a business arrangement with a nefarious stranger, who represents the chance of reuniting with this lost woman. The young man's only hope is rigid adherence to a Faustian set of terms that will test the very fabric of reality, and may carry with them the ultimate price. After decades of longing and isolation, he must reluctantly push forward through his last fleeting chance for salvation. At its core, this piece examines the sacrifice that all true desire carries with it, and how far people are sometimes willing to journey from themselves in order to find peace. Starring Peter Facinelli ("Can't Hardly Wait","The Big Kahuna", "Riding in Cars With Boys") and Maggie McOmie (George Lucas' "THX 1138"),and paying homage to such classics as "2001" and "The Shining", this movie employs powerfully heightened visuals and layered sound design to weave its haunting story. Witness the unique experience about which Oliver Stone says, "In a boldly surreal film, Daniel Boneville confidently directs the actors, the camera, and the story, while showing his potential as a fine, young director."
