Character: Jimmy Mulate

This movie is set in New Orleans, Peter acts as Jimmy Mulate who is just a normal guy working to be a lawyer. Charlie Le Blanc (Burt Reynolds) a wealthy businessman who learns some fatal news and wants to test his young wife's loyalty befriends Jimmy and offers him money to try and help him test that loyalty. At first Jimmy say's no, not wanting to get involved in this husband/wife play but in the end his need for the money to get him through school overrules and he decides to take Charlie up on his offer. When he finally meets Lilly (Saffron Burrows) he almost immediately falls in love with her and tries to protect her through it all. Throw in a murder of an important city mans son and you have a great thriller on your hands. Peter's role in this film is great, just an everyday guy trying to do the right thing.
